Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Equipment Technician at our client site located in Sayre, PA. The Biomedical Equipment Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, equipment repair, electrical safety, medical equipment, and calibration.
QualificationsEquipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair skillsKnowledge of Electrical SafetyExperience working with Medical EquipmentExperience with CalibrationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyEffective communication skillsAssociate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field (preferred)
Must HaveAssociates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. Experience in OR/Cathlab and/or sterilizer.
