Quality Engineer

A global Automotive parts manufacturer near the Circleville, OH area is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their company. The ideal candidate will have Quality Engineering experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry, and will be able to ensure all quality standards throughout the product development and manufacturing processes. This is a full-time and direct hire position.

Responsibilities:· Collaborate with production and management for Continuous Improvement projects· Identify and resolve issues in product design, testing, and production· Root cause analysis and corrective action on quality issues· Ensure that products and manufacturing processes are meeting customer, industry, and governmental standards· Creation of PPAP, APQP, and other quality documentation· Plan and conduct quality / process audits· Assist with training of quality and production associates as needed· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:· Bachelors’ degree in an engineering field preferred, OR equivalent work experience· Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a quality-adjacent role (including internships, co-ops, etc.)· Ideally familiar with PPAP / APQP documentation, ISO standards, 8Ds / 5 Whys, etc. · Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving· Strong communication and leadership ability in a multicultural environment· Good time management skills and multitasking ability· This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
