Title - Purchasing/BuyerLocation - Morton, ILDuration - 12 months contract with possible extensionBusiness Objective:This purchaser will be responsible for purchasing parts for kitting assembly. The purchaser will have to keep eye on a lot of moving parts in this space as there is a large amount of spend, they will be managing. Putting parts in a box is not complicated, but with 20-30 suppliers sending in parts at a time and the amount of lead time, or global supply base can complicate the job. The buyer's job is to make sense of all of this through analysis and purchasing the parts to develop kitting. Daily Responsibilities:Utilizing Power BI / Tableau / Excel to manage purchases, navigate orders and lead times. Spending time in Power BI with aftermarket dashboard to analyze purchases and other activities. Creating pivot tables and formulas in Excel. There is a lot of analysis that goes into figuring out where things go. Top 3 Skills:Advanced or Expert level proficiency Power BI/Tableau/Excel3-5 years of procurement experience
