📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position: ControllerSalary: $165,000 - $175,000 annually
Job Description:Directs the preparation of all month-end close and financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and governmental agency reports. Oversees and manages the annual budgeting process and monthly budget variance analysis. Issues timely monthly financial reports for the executive team and board of directors. Coordinates with external vendors to prepare tax returns and audited financial statements. Manages relationships with banks, insurance companies, and credit card companies. Works with the executive team to coordinate company strategy and establish priorities. Establishes and monitors credit limits for new and existing customers. Assists in evaluating company benefits and benefit programs. Manages daily operations including cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, customer credits and collections, payroll approval, and fixed asset tracking. Other duties as necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent management, supervisory, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems including intermediate NetSuite experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-first focus. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
Education and Experience:Associate degree in business, accounting, or finance required.8-10 years of experience in financial management. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing an accounting team. Proficient in MS Word and advanced Excel.
