As a BMC ( Baseboard Management Controller) Engineer you will work as part of a Research and Development team responsible for developing, testing, and debugging Firmware and embedded system software that interface with Linux/Windows Operating System.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and development of server BMC, including but not limited to: BMC kernel configuration, porting, hardware adaptation, sensor monitoring, IPMI/Redfish protocol development, multi-protocol development (SPI, SMBus, PMBus, MCTP, PLDM, etc.), thermal management implementation, and firmware update function；2. Provide BMC with Aivres design function and cooperate with other units to develop;3. Modified and customized BMC according to customers' requirements, communicated with customers about requirements details, replied and solved customers' problems;4. Perform BMC test tasks.
Qualifications
- Have learning experience in computer science or related discipline, at least 7 years of relevant working experience;2. Familiar with Intel/AMD platform adaptation development;3. Familiar with Aspeed BMC chip management function development, IPMI /Redfish standard operation principle;4. With C/C++, embedded Linux development;5. Experience in server development is preferred.6. Speak English and Chinese are highly preferred.
