Job Duties:The assistant Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, plans, organizes, directs and actively participates in the nursing care of patients, Works with the multi-disciplinary team to manage the day-to-day operations of the service. Problem solving, coordination of assignments and patient placement, staffing, CI activities, facilitation of staff competency, validation and performance monitoring. Acts as a role model and a mentor to staff.
Education/Experience:RNBSN required3 years relevant clinical experience required. Previous leadership experience preferredLicensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York StateBLS certificationCertification in specialty area preferred.
