Program Manager (Cloud Operations)

Role: Cloud Operations Program ManagerLocation: Fully remote in the USJob Duration: 6-months with an opportunity to extend or convert to full-timePay: 80 - 85 an hr on W2

• Job Description: Identify, analyze, and coordinate cloud operational management duties across all different business areas, working closely with the stakeholders to avoid disruption to the business.
• Increase Cloud Operational Governance maturity by redesigning current processes according to market Cloud FinOps best practices and company-specific infrastructure requirements.
• Develop operational methods and manage cloud capacity, identifying and attacking problem areas for infrastructure stakeholders.
• Prepare manuals and train colleagues to implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems and/or maximize product reliability.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications and perform mathematical calculations on cloud infrastructure metrics to better understand behavior and areas for improvement in our cloud management operations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Management, or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience or education must include:Operate quota and capacity management tools in AWS, GCP, OCI and AzurePulling data and standardizing queries from large databases using SQLCost management tactics such as enterprise-wide discount programs and commitment plans (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot, Sustained Use/Committed Use Discounts), rightsizing, scheduling, and environment hygiene (idle resource management)Data analysis programming and querying languages including Python, R, and SQL to create analytical models for data-driven decisions and troubleshoot data quality issues for existing data pipelinesAgile methodologies/DevOps environment and program management-related tools including JIRA
