We are seeking support for a mobile laboratory learning for students across Kansas. This position does not require any specific experience qualifications, other than a passion for community outreach! The mobile lab will provide engaging, hands-on educational experiences for students and teachers using a custom-outfitted STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning space.
Duties
Transports, sets up and operates the mobile learning labs per school's needs - setups are a combination of indoor and outdoor. Maintain inventory, cleaning, and storage of equipment in the mobile science lab. Direct students to hands-on learning stations Reset the lab for the next group of students and repeat for the rest of the school day. At the end of the day, connect with the teacher who brought students out to the lab. At the end of the visit, breakdown lab environment after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly
Qualifications
Provide consistent good customer service. Strong detail orientation. Excellent communication skills Passion for community outreach Responsibilities to reliably commute to the work location Responsibilities to adept to changing classroom dynamics and schedules Able to lift up to 50lbs
Hourly: $16.50 - 17.25/hour
