Ascendo Resources is actively seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join the team of a reputable company in Springfield Gardens, NY. This position is full-time, fully onsite, and temp-to-perm. In this position you would split your time between coordinating vendor relationships and troubleshooting handyman technical problems.
Job Title: Facility AdminPay Rate: up to $30/hrSchedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Responsibilitiesthe maintenance of equipment and supplies to ensure they adhere to health and safety standards.emergency preparedness procedures effectively.and ensuring compliance with the Annual Schedule of Maintenance and Calibration for the Branch.the maintenance, calibration, and qualification services provided by selected vendors to meet technical and GMP requirements.the technical upkeep of various Branch support systems, including Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Prevention systems.the performance of the Central Monitoring System (CMS) and overseeing necessary maintenance for optimal performance. CMS sensor challenge testing and calibrations, along with proper documentation as per SOPs.the Alarm Response Team and managing responses to CMS alarms.qualification activities for GMP equipment, systems, and facilities with relevant vendors. GMP vendors for various maintenance needs, including HVAC, Cold Room, Freezers, and Security Systems.supporting services from suppliers for Pest Control, Cleaning, Security, and Electrical installations.proper registration and documentation of maintenance, calibrations, and qualifications to meet GMP and SOP requirements.emergency maintenance with suppliers to prevent temperature excursions during critical situations.in Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and Business Continuity planning as a member. Qualifications:technical expertise in engineering and equipment maintenance within a GMP environment.in the technical aspects of calibrating temperature monitoring devices.with the qualification process.for the Operations & Engineering Specialist role should ideally have 3-4 years of experience in technical and GMP settings.experience working in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.background at the technical or bachelor's degree level in relevant fields such as: engineering.
