Revenue Accounting Manager

Full Job DescriptionRevenue Accounting Mnager. applies General Accounting Applications Principles to analyze financial information, conduct account reconciliation and monthly closing; maintains audit trails for assigned accounts and supporting documentation. The Revenue Accountant is also responsible for the managing and accounting of Gross to Net Revenue Adjustments and all associated general ledger accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with GAAPMaintain/own Master Customer Rebate List. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Conducting customer profitability analysisPreparation of various journal entries (i.e. Customer Rebates, Incentives. Customer Returns, Warranty Returns)Develop, implement, and modify reports required in order to calculate monthly sales rebates, commissions and other customer incentives and a SKU levelPrepare monthly GL account reconciliationsPrepare monthly balance sheet and income statement variance, trend and rollfoward analysisParticipate in the preparation of schedules for various auditsOther duties as assigned based on business needs or management’s requestDevelop process documentation for assigned areasParticipate in annual budget and forecasting processesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)Bachelor’s degree in accountingMinimum of 8-10 years experience in accounting is required2-3 of CPA Experience. Detail oriented with high level of attention to financial accuracyHighly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and working in an ERP environmentExcellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to complete a task or projectExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to meet strict deadlinesAbility to actively engage and collaborate with members across departments without compromising internal controlsLicensing or other special certifications: CPA preferred but not mandatoryWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, laptop, phones, photocopier, and fax machine
