Tax Consulting Firm Seeks to add a Tax Analyst to Join the Team
Location: New York, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals with a concentration in NYS and NJ resident filings• Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, subchapter S, trusts, gift, and private foundations• Prepare quarterly tax estimate projections• Prepare foreign filing disclosures and reports: FBAR, 926, 8621, 8886, 8865• Respond to federal and state tax notices• Effectively communicate with managers• Possess strong analytical and organizational skills to meet various tax deadlines
EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus• 1-3 years’ experience preparing returns in the high-net-worth space with public accounting experience preferred• CPA or EA preferred, or actively pursuing licensure• Experience using GoSystem tax software, BNA income tax planner, QuickBooks, IntelliForms and Microsoft Office is a plus
