Our client is a prestigious financial services firm located in Midtown and they are looking for an Accounts Payable Professional to join their team. The firm offers a great work-life balance and they have a hybrid office model.
Job Description:Analyze invoicesManage the AP to ensure invoices are approved and paid timelySetup payments across various platformsMaintain positive relationships with vendors and counterpartiesInitiate new vendor setups, verify wiring instructions, and reconcile vendor statementsPrepare allocations work papers for large invoices, when appropriateMaintain W-9 records and assist with annual 1099 reportingPrepare quarterly New York sales & use tax filing analysisAssist with gathering support for deal closings, third-party reimbursements, and audit requests
Qualifications:1-10 years of professional AP experienceBachelor’s degree requiredFinancial Services, Legal, or consulting industry experience is required. Allocation work papers for large invoices is highly preferred
The annual base salary range is $80k to $120k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
