As a member of the Manufacturing Services Team, the Technology Manager will be responsible for providing both technical and product launch support for the manufacture of agricultural solution products at North American facilities. The candidate will support the North American asset strategy by evaluating portfolio and ensuring the products are produced in a manner that maximizes asset effectiveness and minimizes idle capacity.

As a Manager Process Technology, You Create Chemistry By...

Providing process technology and engineering support for startup of new products, process changes and ongoing technical support for BASF and contract manufacturers. Providing process technology leadership to BASF and contract manufacturing sites for projects including capacity expansions, cost improvements, and process optimization projects. Leading for product launches and life cycle management projects. Providing interface and coordination with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Stewardship, Sourcing and Manufacturing sites. Leading operations launch sub team technology meetings and manage activities associated with the Product Launch Excellence process to deliver on-time production for business core targets. Managing documentatio, supporting the product launch process, including preparing Formulation Manufacturing Manuals, Management of Change, and launch checklists. Maintain technical equipment documentation for BASF and Tolling Sites and lead Site Selection Leading the technological implementation of the regional manufacturing asset strategy, ensuring alignment and support of the global and regional operational strategies. Drive strategic development measures identified in the regional strategy and in site development plans.

Bring your BS Degree in Engineering or Chemistry or related areaHave project management and/or product launch experienceHave 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operationsPosses strong negotiation, critical and strategic thinking skills; Strong technical and interpersonal skills; Effective written and verbal communication skills. Have Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite Establishing and supporting a safety culture in which all accidents are preventable
