Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, on mostly high-end European vehicles. We are a Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Center.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans.- Repair or replace damaged body parts, including panels, frames, and bumpers, using hand and power tools.- Prepare surfaces for painting, apply primer, paint, and clear coats, and ensure a seamless finish.- Straighten and align vehicle frames and structures using specialized equipment.- Perform welding and fabrication work to repair or fabricate vehicle components.- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer satisfaction.- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or Collision Repair Technician required.- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for automotive repair.- Knowledge of automotive painting techniques and refinishing processes.- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical documents.- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.- Certification from a recognized automotive repair program or institution is a plus.
