The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of the non-profit organization. They oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the organization's mission through effective financial management.
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor management.
- Manage daily cash management and develop monthly case flow planningOversee Payroll processWork closely with the CFO and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for management review.
- Manage and mentor Payroll Associate and Accounting AssociateOversee annual audit and state/federal audits.
Must haves5+ years in an Accounting role, at least 1 year in managmentBA in AccountingThorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting softwareLeadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team, foster a positive work culture, and drive results. This role is onsite full-time
