Our client Bearpath Golf and Country Club located in Eden Prairie, MN, has a career opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on Senior Accountant. This position will work closely with the Controller and perform day-to-day activities relevant to the accounting processes of a golf and country club, including: preparation of financial reports; processing of A/P, A/R and month-end procedures; oversight of event and membership billing and fees; and general business operation responsibilities. We are looking for a hands-on accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience with accounts payable, inventory, journal entries, GL reconciliations and budget/forecasting. A Bachelors degree in Accounting is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and computer skills are essential to this position. Golf or country club industry experience is a plus.
