Licensing Coordinator

Overview: The Licensing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and coordination between our client's internal teams, licensors, and production partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the licensing process from concept to production, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:Create style numbers and input new style information into the internal database. Develop submission pages for individual styles, upload them to appropriate licensor websites, and revise submissions as needed. Receive sample/production images of products and upload them to appropriate licensor websites, while also inputting data into internal databases. Take detailed photos of products for licensor review as required. Document the status of licensor comments and approvals at both the concept and sample stages, and communicate this information to the Production and Sales teams. Receive product testing reports from factories, upload them to appropriate licensor websites, and track approvals. Ensure licensors have all necessary materials (e.g., production images, carding, testing reports) to give final approval to production. Maintain day-to-day communication with licensors to stay abreast of project deadlines and any updates. Attend regular meetings with licensors to share new design developments and receive new information on intellectual property (IP) and guardrails. Communicate new licensed artwork and guardrails to designers.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent work experience.3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Licensing or Manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is mandatory. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Prior experience working as a liaison between multiple teams and external partners is preferred. Fashion industry experience is not required but would be advantageous. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
