BGSF is seeking a contract Payroll Specialist for our nonprofit Chicago client - moving fast!
3+ month contract $25.00 - $30.00/hr, DOEHybrid – 2-3 days/week remote; onsite Mondays and ThursdaysTargeted start date ASAP Monday – Friday, 830am – 500pmRequires 3+ years payroll experience; 500+ employees; payroll tax; Excel; UKG a +Offers opportunity to earn interim income, potential for hire, rewarding contribution to those who are passionate about community and youth service
Position SummaryReporting to the Controller, the Payroll Specialist performs a wide variety of activities necessary to process biweekly payroll for approximately 800 employees, including maintaining related records, processing voluntary and involuntary deductions, handling tax withholdings and other withholdings, preparing reports for operations management, and performing analysis as necessary to support the Finance team.
