📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF ROLE: In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting our corporate data centers, including structured copper and fiber distribution systems, switch and router configurations, and server and appliance configurations.
You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with senior IT engineers, architects, and developers to influence technical decisions and strategies that support our business needs.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in trans Translates business requirements and functional specifications into technical requirements that support integrated and sustainable designs for complex or high impact infrastructure systems by partnering with Business Analysts to understand business needs and functional specificationsCollaborates with architects, software engineers, and other infrastructure engineers to ensure functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable system designsGuides and drives physical architecture design for new initiatives by working closely with enterprise solution and infrastructure architects in developing and validating system design prototypesBuilds hardware and software configurations and prepares system components for installation to the infrastructure
