The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records, heavy cost accounting management, and accounting personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts. Responsibilities
They do both public and private work. Process in-house payroll, both nonunion and union labor. A lot of job costing and coding according to the jobs. Certified payroll and maintaining payroll systems – they do all their payroll in-houseAudit and oversee APQuarterly/yearly payroll tax reporting. Bank recs (very in-depth). Adjusting journal entries with prepaids and understanding depreciation. Managing aspects of the 401k program and working with the 3rd party administrator. This person will also have HR responsibilities - no onboarding or offboarding. Manage the benefits as far as their health and accessory deals. Heavy transactional accounting and cost accounting daily.
Qualifications
8+ years in Construction Accounting experience. Open to Seniors and Accounting Managers wanting to move up.3-5 years as a Senior, at a minimum. Likely 8+ years of overall experience. Tenure is huge here – highly prefer stable work experience.
