FPGA Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer with extensive experience in FPGA prototyping. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking RTL designs and implementing them for pre-silicon validation using FPGA technology. This role requires a deep understanding of FPGA architecture, Verilog coding, simulation, and hardware debugging techniques.

Responsibilities:Implement RTL designs on FPGA platforms for pre-silicon validation. Conduct hands-on simulation and coding work to ensure the functionality and performance of FPGA prototypes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and specifications. Utilize hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Optimize FPGA timing and speed to meet performance targets. Work on Synopsys HAPS system for FPGA prototyping projects. Develop and maintain documentation related to hardware design and implementation processes.

Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.10+ years of overall experience in hardware design, with a focus on FPGA prototyping. Extensive experience in FPGA work, including implementation and validation. Proficiency in Verilog coding and simulation. Strong hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:Experience with FPGA timing and speed optimization techniques. Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages. Knowledge of AXI bus architecture. Understanding of microprocessor systems and their integration with FPGA designs.
