Summary
Acts as unit receptionist and provides clerical services to maximize the functioning of the unit. Maintains responsibility for telemetry emergency phone.
Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Read, write and speak English. Works at Computer/Monitor for long periods. Remains calm under emergency situations. Sits for prolonged periods; must be able to communicate verbally. Must possess auditory and visual acuity to accurately perform job functions. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
