The Role

Key Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

• Software Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL).
• Participate in the design and development of software applications.
• Responsible for the technical development of application features, both front-end and back-end.
• Ensure software quality and will ensure testing guidelines are met.
• Ensure on-time delivery of software components to production.
• Collaborate with software product stakeholders to identify functional and non-functional requirements.
• Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
• Resolve production defects and issues.
• Technical Environment: Java, Agile/Scrum, Unit testing (frameworks and methodologies), Springboot, Javascript, Maven, JQuery, XML, Hibernate, CSS, version control (Git), Junit, Unix/Linux, Jenkins, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, React Js, Vue Js.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus three years of experience in job offered or with software development/engineering or as a Software Engineer required. Required Skills: software development experience with Java; hands on experience with Agile/Scrum; unit testing (frameworks & methodologies); Springboot, Javascript; Maven; JQuery; XML; Hibernate; CSS; version control (Git); Unix/Linux, Junit; Jenkins; Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL; Docker; React Js or Vue Js. Telecommuting permitted.
