Power Ranch is an award-winning master-planned community in Gilbert, AZ. In addition to an extensive line-up of community events, classes and activities, this neighborhood also features several impressive amenities. These include three clubhouses, 26 miles of trails, community parks, a catch-and-release lake, playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball, picnic areas and a 10-acre soccer complex.

Our Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing a wide range of routine and preventative maintenance tasks ensuring the cleanliness of the facilities and buildings including garbage and waste disposal; performing event/room setups and breakdowns. This role is fundamental in maintaining our beautiful community and ensuring a safe environment for all.

What You’ll Accomplish

Perform maintenance work of all skill levels from basic repairs to more complex tasks including:Lighting checks, cleaning light lenses, bulb and ballast replacementsMaintaining and repairing doors and locksCaulking, prep work, and paintingMinor carpentry, construction, electrical, appliance and furniture repairsPlumbing maintenance such as repairing or replacing faucets and fixturesMaintaining limited access gates, storage closets, doors, and locksCleaning of areas around the pool, dumpster, and common areas

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a related maintenance field, along with electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance is desiredExperience in general maintenance, and entry-level computer skills including Microsoft Office and OutlookBe self-motivated, observant, have high attention to detail, and will detect maintenance needs throughout the property and rectify concernsMust be able to effectively communicate with managers, residents, and peers verbally and in writing; have the ability to follow instructions and schedules as designated; maintain required logs and other documentation; and be dependable, solution-oriented, and professional in appearanceA pleasant personality and people skills are a must.

Important To Know

Candidate must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time, perform physical labor, lift up to 75 pounds, work from ladders or lifts, and may also be asked to support the Lifestyle Director after normal business hours, and occasional on-call services are required. Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle is required. This candidate will also be required to pass a background check, a physical, as well as a drug screening.
