📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Candidate, with growth potential, to join a dynamic finance team in a growing aerospace company. Supervise AP automation and ensure customers pay timely. Responsible for the management, design, and maintenance of the financial reporting processes in accordance with corporate policies and procedures for the following functional areas: General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, AP & AR. Scope of Responsibilities: Leads monthly accounting close and financial reporting processesControls general ledger activities including preparing & posting journal entries, preparing monthly reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy Reviews and approves payroll registers for accuracy and proper financial and tax reportingGenerates and distributes monthly reporting packages for internal stakeholders explaining monthly variancesSupports VP of Finance in preparing annual plan and supporting analysisDrives working capital performance through direct management of AR/AP functionsEstablishes annual cycle count plan and monitors quarterly progressAdministers and controls corporate expense card programEnsures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including GAAP, SOX, FARs, and other relevant policies and supports internal/external audit requests as neededCompletes ad hoc analysis and requests as neededSupport and promote our company values & principles in every day work activitiesOther dues as required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is requiredAt least 4 years’ progressive experience in accounting/financeSupervisory experience preferredStrong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteOnstream and Sage 100 a plusOrganization, attention to detail, sense of urgency, maintain confidentialityCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers in both oral and written form in English Ability to make independent decisions on routine office activitiesAbility to work with ITAR products and related data without restrictionRequires mostly sitting, bending, standing and walking CDA InterCorp is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
