Logistics Specialist

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:9:30pm-7:30am

Salary ranges from:$50,000-$70,000 annual

Ideal Candidate Requirements:Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees. Desire to surround customer with excellence in service. High aptitude for technology. The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented. Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high pressure environment with multiple priorities. An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

• Duties include, but are not limited to:Dispatch for a team of 70 to 80 over the road company drivers.
• Inform internal team members of driver statuses.
• Analyze driver metrics to create efficiency reports.
• Handle driver & load swaps and ensuring drivers arrive to the destination in timely manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
• Provide/support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.
