If you are an Electrical Engineer with experience, please read on!Based in Appleton WI, we are a technology-driven equipment manufacturer in the film converting and alternative energy markets. The increased demand for CMD’s products and services has resulted in the need for an Electrical Engineer, responsible for the electrical design of machinery and electrical systems used on machines, including machine program software. Occasional travel is required.
What You Will Be DoingYou will be responsible for the engineering standards of the packaging/converting machinery industry and in compliance with the current national and international standards for the care and construction of packaging/converting related machinery and equipment. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the implementation of product improvement programs, recordkeeping of formulae, drawings, process methods, product construction standards, and daily logs to support patent actions.
What Electrical Engineer’s Need for this Position Must Have:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering6 years engineer-to-order machinery industryBackground in machinery design including power, controls, and programmingProficient in use of AutoCAD Electrical Engineer Nice to Have:Experience negotiating with vendors with respect to new electrical engineering systems or proposed machinery components sufficient to carry out desired designsUnderstanding of CMD integrated business system
