Responsibilities

Leading in all financial reporting and will assist in decision making on financial mattersEnsuring that the company financial and budgetary systems are supporting the company strategy and expenses are in alignment with revenue goalsEnsuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting to support the strategy are of utmost importancePlanning, coordinating, and directing all company accounting operations and processesManaging the consolidation and organization of all company financial data required for accurate reporting of operational resultsCoordinating auditing activities and ensuring all documentation is accurately represented for auditing. Analyzing accounting operations, making financial recommendations for improvement, and implementing new strategies and processes. Planning company budgets and ensuring business expenses are aligned with the company’s revenue goals. Preparing forecasts and revisions and advising on relevant changes and impact to full year financial plans. Overseeing and managing the regulatory reporting, including tax preparation and compliance. Developing, tracking, and assessing business and financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Evaluating and monitoring control systems and evaluating the effectiveness of the company’s accounting software and financial database. Preparation and review of quarterly bank covenant compliance documentation. The Controller will be involved in all company financial matters and will be expected to advise on the financial impact of any new initiatives including real estate and construction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 10+ years of experience preferably with a mix of public and private experience
