Key Responsibilities:Research, prototype, and develop software solutions to solve problems across retailStay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworksDeliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation, and engineering.
“MUST HAVE” SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILS:5+ years of experience with backend frameworks (node.js, NestJS)5+ years of solid foundation and understanding of relational and NoSQL database principles.5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Services5+ years of experience in creating API using NodeJS, Python, Java, or Go developing software solutions for real world problems (Recent experience in NodeJS required)5+ years of experience with microservices or SOA Architecture and other design patternsExperience working with Confluent Kafka, Kafka Streams, and FlinkExperience with Kubernetes for containerized application tooling and deployments. Experience with CI/CD including automated e2e tests with Cypress or PlaywrightExperience with frontend frameworks: Angular, ReactMentorship of Junior level engineers to help make informed decisions. Possesses exceptional troubleshooting skills. Stays on the leading edge of software development tools and best practices. Self-directed with a start-up entrepreneur mindsetBachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience
