Responsibilities:retail Insurance Accounting, Revenue Accounting, manages commissions, audits, improve internal controlsin the implementation of software to drive automation - designing a system or process to mitigate riskInvoicing for retail brokerage for homeowners, auto, and insurance binds and ensure they get uploaded into the system correctlySupport sales and retail expansion team on ensuring carrier relationships are reported on accurately and completelySupervises, directs and reviews the work of accounting staff including but not limited to month/quarter/year end close, cash management, accounts payable, purchasing, and general ledger reconciliations/journal entries. Schedule, manage and coordinate the monthly/quarterly/annual close including the review and/or preparation of journal entries and reconciliations, supporting schedules and drafting financial statements. Provide strong and effective leadership to the corporate accounting team through collaboration, communication, problem-solving, innovation, execution, and results.
