Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing e-commerce company in Broward county. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and manage Accounts Payable balance and daily activity.• Participate in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements, including variance analysis and budget vs. actual analysis.• Assist in annual audit and tax filing processes.• Conduct monthly reconciliation of income statement accounts, including marketing expenses and other general and administrative expenses.• Work on ad hoc projects as needed to support the finance team.• Collaborate with the sales tax partner to ensure timely and accurate filing of sales tax.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with US GAAP and prior experience in public accounting.• Experience in D365 is preferred and proficiency in Excel• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
