Job Description
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our patient care team, working under the direction of physical therapists to help patients recover and improve their mobility. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting patients with exercises and mobility training as outlined in their care plans. Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound as prescribed. Documenting patient progress and communicating with physical therapists to adjust care plans as needed. Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Education & Certification Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess
An Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio. CPR/BLS certification. Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
