Exam Proctors needed for a University in Washington, DC.
Proctors must have at least two years of college experience and be comfortable reading and speaking in front of large groups of students in a clear and articulate voice. Proctors must be willing to work in a room alone or collaborate with other proctors and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Punctuality, flexibility, willingness to take and follow instructions, and attention to detail are essential.
Proctor Responsibilities Include: Administer examinations to students Ensure accuracy of exam materials in their exam room (correct number of exams, scratch paper, exam books, etc.) Prepare examination room for students Check student IDs and distribute exam materials Provide required instructions to students Monitor the exam room while the examination is in progress to ensure prohibited materials are not being used Ensure students adhere to the time limitation of the exam Collect all exam materials and return them to the Office of the Registrar Ensure the integrity and fairness of the examination process.
