Responsibilities

Ensure venue presentation systems are in a constant state of readinessWork with Cosm Technologies teams to execute product launch strategiesMaintain comprehensive systems knowledge to support normal operations, special events, and demonstrationsMonitor venue schedule and proactively coordinate with stakeholders and operatorsActivate and monitor live event sequences and transitionsTrack live events and adjust venue displays according to established runbooksCoordinate with venue ops team to initiate program blocks, transitionsEssential Systems MaintenanceLog and track issues across all presentation systemsSystems preventive maintenance, including LED module removal and replacementCoordinate systems testing and issue resolutionMonitor and maintain a variety of theatrical effects, including fog machines and DMX lightingDemo and Special Event supportCoordinate with in-house and external teams to enable the best possible guest experienceProgram lighting and sound cuesDevelop custom presentations and events contentLoad, test, and verify special event contentSupport venue guest experiences, and work with venue team members to help setup and teardown, as neededTrain and collaborate with team members

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar relevant fieldAny additional relevant diploma or certification, or industry experience with large venue AV technology will be considered as an advantageExtensive background working with Windows PC technologyFamiliarity with audio/visual signal flows and diagrams, and AV automation systemsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsMust be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organizedTeam leadership skills, ability to remain calm under pressureBackground in Astronomy and/or related sciences is a plusExperience in Audio, Lighting, Broadcast, IT, and/or streaming IP video workflows is a plusMust be able to lift up to 60lbsMust be able to safely climb structures and work, briefly, in elevated positionsMust be able to work during live events, with high noise levels, and busy environments

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $65,000 - $75,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
