Assistant ControllerSalary: $100,000 - $115,000Hybrid Role: 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote
Join a well-respected global manufacturer in the North Syracuse, NY area as an Assistant Controller! As an Assistant Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company financial records. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you'll lead complex accounting tasks, drive month-end closings, and contribute to process development. This role offers a blend of autonomy and collaboration, shaping the future of the Finance Team.
Responsibilities:Lead monthly general ledger close process with GAAP compliancePrepare intricate accounting journal entries and support cross-functional data gatheringDocument accounting procedures and aid in auditsCollaborate with Finance Leaders to enhance accounting processes across numerous sitesAnalyze financial data for reporting and business unit reviews
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of accounting or finance experienceStrong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills for effective collaborationProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and technologySelf-motivated with exceptional time managementDetail-oriented and solution-driven mindset
