Pharmacy Technician - Full Time Copper Springs East Gilbert, AZ

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Copper Springs East , you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This full time, nonexempt position will work between 30-37 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am-3:00pm.

About the Facility: Copper Springs East, located in Gilbert, Arizona, is a 72-bed hospital which provides inpatient and outpatient services for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, addiction, and other mental health issues. It was built from the ground up, opening in August of 2020, with patient comfort in mind - open, airy spaces with amenities such as snack stations, a workout room, spacious patient rooms, and outside courtyards. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes HCS and Pyxis. Remote pharmacy call services provide coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy

Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office

Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity

Hep B3 Series (or declination)

(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st - April 30 th
