Record cash payments daily and track in spreadsheetReview and confirm balance, freight, and sales tax on invoices; post Accounts Payable batches to general ledgerReview final checks weekly for AP/ARPrepare journal entries for cash transactionsMonthly closings - prepare sales tax returns for two regions; prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all US locations; communicate with plant managers regarding expensesPrepare balance sheet reconciliations for international locations quarterly
Preferred Qualifications For The Accountant Role
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field3+ years of experience in a similar roleProficiency with Microsoft ExcelComfortable working in a major ERPDemonstrated ability to work in a leadership role
