Position Overview: They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Handle debits and credits accurately in accordance with established accounting principlesProcess accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and accurate recording of expensesManage payroll processes, including accurate and timely processing of employee payments, deductions, and tax filingsServe as backup support for accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and managing collections as neededPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist in month-end and year-end close processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skills
