Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a MultiMedia/Web Designer. The MultiMedia/Web Designer will be responsible for web design, graphic design, front-end development, and responsive web design. The role will be located on-site in Myrtle Beach, SC. Organized, detailed, and driven individual to be responsible for various website content updates, SEO, social media graphics. Reporting and assisting with the Marketing and Sales Departments.
QualificationsManage web content updates and maintenanceImplement new website features and content, including graphic elements, website navigation and page layoutProofreading, re-structuring and editing current website contentOffer recommendations for best practices and efficiencies in each phase of our projects (strategy, UI/UX, design, and development)Ensure high quality graphic and web standards that maintain brand consistencyActively maintain SEO for company websitesExecute Google Analytics reportsAssist with social media managementCollaborate with marketing team membersRegularly research brand trends, layouts, and best practicesMaintain short and long-term deadlinesCollaborate with our teams to ensure clean workflow of projects through discovery, design, development, final approval and deliveryProvide cross-functional support for company’s social media presence including developing targeted campaignsSupport the Marketing Director in strategic planning and execution of marketing campaignsOccasionally, travel will be requiredParticipation in Networking events, Chamber events, luncheons, trade shows, etc. is required. Create email campaigns, from design, testing, distribution and reporting
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of educationAdvanced knowledge of WordPress, plugins, SEO, and HTMLUI/UX design experienceProficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign requiredStrong understanding of typography, color, layout, and website interaction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to create 3D presentation design drawings is a PLUS
Ideal candidate will have:Experience in WordPress, SEO, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScriptMarketing experience in brand awareness with use of typography, digital, and printA basic understanding of the hospitality, construction, and/or maintenance industry
