Position Overview: The Grading Foreman is responsible for leading a team of excavation and earthmoving personnel for the successful execution of projects. The Grading Foreman must ensure that work is completed safely and efficiently while meeting all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and supervise a team of excavation and earthmoving personnel in the grading of sites.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Coordinate with other supervisors and project managers to ensure that all grading tasks are completed efficiently and on-time.
- Maintain accurate records of progress.
- Manage equipment and supplies to ensure they are in proper working order.
Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Grading Foreman. Extensive knowledge of excavation and earthmoving processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings. Proficient in using grading and surveying equipment. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
