Job descriptionD. Ott Construction is a rapidly growing construction company based out of Lancaster PA. We are currently searching for a valued Draftsman to join our team. An ideal candidate is well versed in AutoCAD/Revit and thrives in a fluid environment. This role would also take on some assistant project manager tasks and allow for both time in the office and on the field.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Take hand sketches and put into AutoCAD/RevitCreate materials lists from drawingsAssist the project Manager with organizing and tracking projects as well as solicit bids from subs and suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience with an architectural firm or GCExcellent communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitaskingDemonstrates knowledge in commercial construction including basic knowledge of commercial codes as well as the ability to navigate sources to find code requirements. Possess strong written, oral, and social communication skills. Self-motivated Desire to problem solve, and collaborate creative solutionsProficient with AutoCAD/Revit, Excel and WordHas a strong focus on planning and is willing and eager to help solve problems as they arise.
Total compensation package offered including but not limited to; competitive pay (salary+bonus), health insurance, and paid time off. Salary/Pay is negotiable based on skills and experience. Part Time or Full-time
