Job Description
Java Developer
Hybrid 3x a week in Richmond, VA, Mclean, VA, NY, NY or Philadelphia, PA
Contract: through 9/13/24
Key Responsibilities
- Develop REST API, Kafka consumer producer using Java/spring boot or Go or Python and Cloud native controls.
- Responsible for overall design, development, writing automated unit test cases, participating in end to end integration testing, performance testing and maintenance of services.
- Develop and support complex AWS infrastructure delivering applicationsCommunicate across teams to help build web portal applications leveraging enterprise frameworks.
- Help to ensure a well-managed identifying and resolving application vulnerabilities, delivering on Enterprise Tech BacklogProvide support across the team and ensure timely delivery of featuresWork closely within the team to help storyboard features
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise experience Excellent coding skills in Java. Golang experience a plus. Strong understanding and application of AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2)Demonstrated technical proficiencyDemonstrated problem solving for complex issuesDemonstrated design thinking for complex featuresDemonstrated leadership qualities, either at the team level or project level
