Job Duties And Responsibilities

DISH is seeking a Facilities Tradesman to join our team who will provide facilities-related support for various events such as meetings, off-site events, and other departmental requests.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily site inspections of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and conditionPerform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned Equipment check sheets as requestedProvide a report to the Facilities manager notifying any problems foundPerform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps Provide support to engineering projects and installationsAssist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requestedAbility to potentialy work various hours ouside of weekly schedule to respond to after-hours emergency requests

Skills, Experience And Requirements

Education and Experience

3-5 years of related experience with general maintenance procedures such as basic building and grounds preventative maintenance

Skills And Qualifications

Basic but proven experience with a variety of trades in the maintenance of commercial office space such as the operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment supporting a 24/7 operationStrong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operationsDemonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work successfully in a team environment with limited resourcesAbility to operate a motor vehicle and obtain a driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with dock locks, overhead garage doors, dock levelers Experience with operating a forkliftCDL endorsement Experience with preventative maintenance routines

Working Conditions

Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periodsMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsWill be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoorsWork may require occasional weekend and/or evening work

Scheduled Weekly Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $24.00/Hour - $29.61/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
