Dragos is seeking a talented Cloud Administrator with expertise in AWS environments to join our IT & Security team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our organization's needs. You will play a key role in optimizing our cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose cloud solutions, and implement best practices for cloud architecture and designAutomate cloud provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templatesImplement and manage cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and VPN connections, to ensure secure and efficient communication within the cloud environmentConfigure and optimize cloud storage solutions, including object storage, block storage, and file storage, to meet performance and availability requirementsMonitor cloud resources and services for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal performanceImplement security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and security controlsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, services, and applications, and provide timely escalation and resolution as neededCollaborate with business stakeholders to integrate cloud services to automate deployment processesStay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate new tools and services to enhance our cloud capabilities

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and securityProficiency in cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or similarHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKSSolid understanding of networking principles and experience configuring cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups and segmentationHands-on experience with AWS event handlingIAM competence avoiding weak authentication methods during design in favor of role based methodsExperience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure managementFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels

Compensation

Base Salary: $130,000Competitive equity package (this will be discussed during the interview process)Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)
