Job Opening: Data Science Intern

Role Description:We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Data Science Intern to join our innovative team. This role involves a range of data analysis tasks, providing the intern with valuable hands-on experience in data science. You will contribute to projects involving data analytics, statistics, and data interpretation. This is a hybrid position based in Baltimore, MD, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities:Scrape and format product details from the web, datasets, and multiple sources. Format the scraped data to align with our existing databases. Predict missing data points within large datasets. Analyze patterns from various POS systems and synchronize them with our database.
Qualifications:Analytical skills with a foundation in statistics and data analytics. Experience or coursework in Data Science and Data Analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Additional Qualifications:Currently enrolled as a college student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, attending a Maryland higher education institution or a Maryland high school graduate attending an institution outside of Maryland. Recent graduate (within 12 months) of a Maryland higher education institution. Maryland resident with a 2 or 4-year degree, who has been honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces, The National Guard, or a Reserve component of the Armed Forces within the last 18 months.
