Position Summary: Located in the Greater Indianapolis area, a frozen food manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer to join the corporate engineering team at their new production facility. This role involves supporting business goals by identifying, planning, and overseeing various projects related to facility, processing, and/or packaging. These projects might encompass equipment and automation for processing and packaging, construction and alterations to buildings, development or modification of production lines for new products, etc. The Project Engineer will work cross functionally with various departments, including: Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Engineering.
Responsibilities Assist in the installation of all production equipmentOffer technical expertise and assistance during the startup and ongoing operation of production systemsCollaborate with maintenance and operations team to troubleshoot issues and optimize production lines for efficiency Identify opportunities for process enhancementsOversee and coordinate capital projects
