Construction Project Manager

DSW Homes, LLC is seeking an experienced, reliable and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to augment our growing company. The Construction Project Manager reports to the Program Manager. Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task with advanced problem-solving techniques, proficient in communication skills with timely follow up, uphold high value for customer service relationships and exemplify integrity, passion, and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing residential new construction and rehabilitation activities in a scattered lot environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and complete confidentiality. Essential Functions including but not limited to:

Supervise the construction and rehabilitation of homesMaintain aggressive schedules on a daily basisManage budgets for each project and generate progress reportsPromote and ensure job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediatelySupervise completion of punch listWork directly with homeownersPerform quality control inspectionsRead and interpret engineered plansSchedule and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliersAssist with permit applications and inspectionsAssist Production Manager with any other related duties as assignedEducation and Skill Requirements:Minimum 3 years experience in residential constructionCollege education in Construction Management is preferred but not requiredExperience in scattered lot preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and softwareAbility to meet all assigned deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentialityFlexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directionsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentDSW offers a competitive compensation package with employer paid health insurance, paid time off and paid holidays.
