Title: Founding EngineerLocation: Tampa, FL (Preferred) / Remote
Scope of PositionEarthNotes’s focus is on creating technology that makes it easier for real estate professionals to collaborate on a map. Built out of an internal need at a commercial real estate firm, we are actively utilizing the beta version of this product daily to great success. With funding secured, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented founding engineer who will be responsible for designing and building the core technology that powers our product. You will work closely with the founding team and will help shape the future of the company.
Responsibilities & Principle Job DutiesWork closely with our CEO, Product Manager, and users to implement core technology from the ground upDevelopment of frontend and backend services based on product requirements and user feedbackPartnership in EarthNotes data strategyEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationHelp maintain code quality and organization
Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of software engineering experienceProficiency in building modern, interactive experiences in mobile applications using React Native or similar technologiesFamiliarity with GIS-based applicationsYou continuously produce well-tested, modular, readable codeYou value feedback and work collaboratively with product and designExcellent communication and teamwork skills
