POSITION SUMMARYElektrofi is seeking talented individuals to join our company full-time as Associate Scientist/Senior Associate Scientist joining our Analytical Department supporting the development of bespoke compositions for Elektrofi’s novel drug delivery platform. Selected individuals will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of scientists and contribute to a variety of IND-enabling formulations activities in a highly collaborative environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and qualify biochemical and microbiological assaysPerform characterization and release testing of drug products using qualified methodsMaintain accurate records and documentation of test resultsAssist with laboratory upkeep and instrument maintenanceSupport technology transfer of biochemistry and microbiology methods to CDMOTroubleshoot and resolve testing-related issuesParticipate in internal and external auditsStay current with the latest industry developments and regulatory requirements QUALIFICATIONSRequired: Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in the same fields with 1-2 years of relevant experience (preferred)Required: Experience required in performing liquid chromatography (SEC, IEX, ProA, HIC), UV-vis spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS, cIEF), endotoxin/LALWorking knowledge in bioassays and microbiological assays is a plusKnowledge in high-throughput (96-well plate) spectroscopic, light scattering and subvisible particulate methods is a plusKnowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements for biotech and pharmaceutical industries is highly desirableExperience with aseptic techniques and sterilization processes is desirableStrong attention to detail and ability to document experimental work with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) is a mustFamiliarity with standard office software (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint) is requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile and highly collaborative environment is essential Our unique strength lies in transforming pioneering ideas into concrete, life-transforming solutions.
