Project Manager

eMetric is currently seeking a talented Project Manager to join our San Antonio, TX team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and leading one or more high-profile projects while effectively managing relationships among team members and with clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and a great communicator.  Primary Responsibilities Manage project initiation and customer onboarding  Document and manage project scope  Define and prioritize project tasks  Establish project goals, requirements, and desired results  Create, manage, and update project schedules Define, manage, and update resources  Identify and manage project issues and risks  Facilitate team meetings to discuss and review the work  Ensure the quality provided and delivered meets that in the agreed plan  Ensure that the team follows all formal and informal best practices in project management and other initiatives  Establish and maintain customer relationships appropriately  Manage customer expectations in delivery     Qualifications: Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required  Master’s degree or related technical and management training preferred  3+ years previous project management experience preferred Experience working with education systems and data is a plus  Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:  Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and software development methodologies (Agile)   Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools   Strong analytical and logical thinking ability  Effective problem-solving skills  Excellent oral and written communication skills  Negotiation and conflict resolution skills  Strong presentation skills Ability to deal with change  Background check required Team member is required to be in-office as needed.
